TORI ROBERTS

Wildlife Illustrator, Animal Fact Guru

The things that I make are a reflection of who I am, what I enjoy, and what I am passionate about. Whether it is video games, popular media, or my passion for wildlife conservation- I always find a way to make art about the things I love. The focus of my portfolio is to unleash the curiosity and interest of viewers by creating engaging pieces that ultimately intrigue their minds about not just the physical sculptures and images, but the subject matter which they represent. This is especially seen in my conservation-based pieces, but I also regularly utilize my love for animals to create new and exciting creatures and concepts.

THE ART

I make traditional graphite illustrations, digital concept art, painted vinyl records, ink illustrations, and pretty much everything else I enjoy.  Ecology and wildlife play a huge role in the things I create and ecological conservation is a driving force into my passions. For example, my digital piece Limiting Factors (shown below), was made in tandem with the Consider Nature blog to raise awareness for lesser-known endangered species such as the Takin. I also take large inspirations from well-known artists such as Terryl Whitlatch and Aaron Blaise into many of my pieces.
